Jeffrey St. Ores

Jeffrey Lee St. Ores, age 69 of Hudson WI, died on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at his home in Hudson. Jeff was born September 20, 1948 in Baraboo, WI to parents Raymond and Joan (McDonald) St. Ores. Jeff grew up in Hudson, and graduated from Hudson High School in 1966. After high school, Jeff continued his education at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire before being drafted to served with the United States Army. Upon his return, he attended the University of Minnesota and received a Masters Degree in Plant Soil Technology. Jeff worked as a Water Quality specialist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, retiring in early 2012. Jeff enjoyed spending his time outdoors, whether hunting and fishing, or playing golf.

Jeff is survived by his aunts, Muriel Thorson; Virginia St. Ores, uncle, Dale (Carol) St. Ores; cousins, Deb (Tom) Offner, Greg (Katherine) Luebke; Tim (Cindy) St. Ores, and many extended St. Ores cousins, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Joan; uncles/aunts, Rufus “Irv” (Joyce) St. Ores, Alan St. Ores, Eugene (Carolina) St. Ores, John “Jack” St. Ores; Alan St. Ores, Dick Thorson, and Bernie (Ken) Luebke.

 To pay tribute to his service to our country, Jeff will be interred at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI. An Irish wake is also being planned and will be announced as soon as set. Memorials preferred to St. Jude’s Hospital and can be sent to the funeral home. 

The family wishes to thank St. Croix Hospice (Amber Janelle, and Pam) and Comfort Keepers (Bethany) for their help and special care in keeping Jeff’s wish of being at home.
