Jennifer Underwood

****Updated Service Information****

Jennifer Ann Underwood passed away peacefully at home March 26, 2020 at the age of 37 surrounded by her loved ones.

Jeni was born January 28, 1983 to Mike and Cindy Conners, the youngest of three siblings.

Jeni was a loving and devoted mother to two daughters, Ava and Adeline.  She treasured her girls and embraced every moment with them.  She passed along to them the importance of family traditions, keeping cousins as best friends, and the beauty of a fun-loving easy-going spirit.

Jeni enjoyed celebrating life with people. Every year, at least once, you would find Jeni at the MN State Fair, Washington County Fair, and Valley Fair.  Annual gatherings with her friends and family included a Fourth of July Parade in Afton, a midsummer fairy party, “Black Friday” shopping, and a Christmas cookie exchanges to name a few.  Her scotcharoos and French silk pie were frequent requests at family gatherings.

Jeni was a longtime employee of Ecolab, her most recent role being in the finance department.

Jeni is preceded in death by her grandparents Edward and Clara Mae Sieleni; and is survived by her husband Matt; their daughters Ava and Adeline; parents Cindy and Mike Conners; sister Amy (Lars) Danielson; brother Michael Conners; nieces Michelle, Makenzie, Grace, and Emerson; aunts Mo (Greg) Holmen, Margo Sieleni, Denise (Neil) Clymer; father and mother-in-law Bob and Karol Underwood; sister-in-law Jenny (Chris) Charbonneau; Katie Conners; and her constant pup companion, Frannie.

Jeni will be remembered to all who knew her, especially those that were a part of Team Jeni for her quiet bravery, gentle perseverance, enduring positivity, and her infectious smile. By her example, Jeni taught the lessons of being kind and living life to its fullest.  She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jeni’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Memorial Lutheran Church, 15730 S. Afton Blvd, Afton, Minnesota. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at the church.
