Jill Marie Stich, age 43 of Hudson WI, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, May 20, 2013 at her residence. Jill was born January 20, 1970 in Minneapolis, MN to parents James and Diane (Hanson) Sculthorp. After graduating Irondale High School with the Class of 1988, Jill earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Augsburg College. She then earned her Master’s degree in Business at UW-Eau Claire. On June 15, 1991, Jill would be united in marriage to Timothy Alan Stich. Their union in marriage would be blessed with two daughters, and nearly 22 years of love and devotion.

Jill was the Controller for NELA USA in River Falls, WI where she provided them years of dedicated and loyal service. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she used her work experience to volunteer and serve on the Church Audit Committee. Outside of work, Jill was an avid reader, especially enjoying mystery novels. As a proud and loving mom, Jill loved her girls, and enjoyed attending their softball games. She also enjoyed runs with her beloved dog, Syd. Jill was caring and sensitive, and a good friend to many. The kind of person who always had a smile, and made others feel good by making time for them amid her own busy schedule. She leaves a legacy of love for her family, and her kindness and character will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jill is survived by her husband, Tim; daughters, Alyssa and Hannah; parents, James (Diane) Sculthorp; sister, Jennifer (Allen) Wagenius; brother, Jeff (Stacy) Sculthorp; parents-in-law, Bev (Dennis) Pille, and Ronald (Marge) Stich; siblings-in-law, Tammy (Steve) Chapel, Jeff (Charyle) Stich, and Jillmarie Stich; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Jonah, Aaron, Alli, James, Heather, Tiffany, Glenn, Jason, and Amanda; her beloved dog, Syd; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral Services for Jill M. Stich will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Bethel HIGHLANDS Campus, 504 Frontage Road, in Hudson, with Pastor Van V. Bredeson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Bethel HIGHLANDS, as well as from 4:00-8:00PM on Thursday evening at the Bethel Lutheran Church (DOWNTOWN), 920 Third Street, in Hudson. (Please note the changes in location for the Visitation on Thursday, and Funeral Services on Friday) Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
