Joan Mary Fox, age 77, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2015 at her home.
Joan was born in Plum City on May 06, 1938, to Wallace and Marie (Maves) Fetzer. Joan graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1956 and attended River Falls College. She married William Fox on February 11, 1961 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Plum City. Joan was employed by Village Pharmacy where she worked many years.
Joan is survived by her brother William (Mary) Fetzer of Hudson, WI; sister Kay (Dan) Gilles of Plum City, WI; a maternal Aunt Jean McKenzie of Titanium, MD; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and brother Bob Fetzer.
Joan will be remembered for her love of flowers, the keeper of family history and her famous pizza. She enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews play sports and attending their concerts. She was a member of the Ellsworth Red Hats and the Rush River Snowmobile Club. Joan also enjoyed socializing with family, friends and will be missed by many.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church Saturday, November 07, at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Church. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Plum City, WI
