Jodi Denise Sachsenmaier of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 24, 1963, in Cornell, Wisconsin to parents Wayne and Shirley Watson. She graduated from Hudson High School, starting her career as a legal assistant and ended as a Judicial Assistant for St. Croix County for the past 20 years.
Jodi had a passion for cooking and trying new recipes. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as heading to the cabin and taking peaceful rides on the pontoon. She also found joy in caring for her plants and watching the birds. She got a thrill playing scratch-offs, enjoying trips to the casino, and was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers.
Her unwavering smile and optimistic outlook were a constant source of inspiration to those around her. She faced hardships with grace and resilience, never allowing them to dampen her spirit.
Jodi is survived by her loving husband Chet Sachsenmaier; children Andrew Watson, Ryan Sachsenmaier, Andy (Erin) Sachsenmaier, Josh Sachsenmaier; grandchildren Olivia, Evelyn; siblings Jill (Scott) Link, Wendy (Terry) Stedtfeld, Pam (Dan) Dubiel, Wayne (Magdalena) Watson; her dog Bernie, along with many nieces, nephews, family & friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Shirley Watson.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Jodi’s life will be held at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, 502 S. 11thStreet Hudson, WI on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the ALS Association.
