Joseph “Joe” David Adler, age 63, of Maiden Rock, WI passed away August 13, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis after a battle with cancer. He was born August 24, 1954 in Plainview, MN to Clifford and Carolyn (Heil) Adler. Joe was united in marriage to Connie L. Tabor on March 1, 1975 in Jacksonville, NC. He worked as a Boat Mechanic/Technician at Wabasha Marina (Erickson Marina).
Joe enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, Hunter and Dazie Buckner. He enjoyed hunting and fishing along with working on boats, cars and trucks. In recent years he started working with LEGOS and had a large collection of Star Wars LEGO sets he bought, constructed and displayed in his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Carolyn Adler and a brother.
Joe is survived by his wife, Connie Adler; children, Troy Adler, Angie Buckner; grandchildren, Hunter and Dazie Buckner; several brothers, sisters and other family members.
A memorial service honoring Joe’s life will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, August 19th at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 N. Grant St., Ellsworth, WI with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
