Judy H. Amundson, age 75, lifelong resident of Hudson, passed away October 24, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.  Judy was born August 8, 1940 in Hudson, WI, the daughter of Alfred and Helen (Cramer) Everson.  Judy attended Hudson High School.  She was united in marriage to Lawrence Amundson, although their marriage later dissolved, it was blessed with four children; Debbie, Helen, Julie and Larry.  Judy worked as an assembler for GS Electric for 16 years, retiring in 2002.  Judy had a gracious and loving heart, and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Judy will remain in the hearts of her special companion of 20 years, Alan Peterson; her children, Debbie (Tim) Gagne, Helen McCombie, Julie Amundson, and Larry Amundson; grandchildren:  Michael (Nicole) Amundson Gagne, Melissa (Kevin) Gagne, Thomas (Yuliya) McCombie, Steven McCombie, Catherine (Bob) Scott, Rebecca (Anthony) Reams, Devon Weeks, Rachel Amundson, Melinda (Sebastian) Engesesther, Nicole Fernstrom and Glenn Fernstrom; great grandchildren:  Alexis, Ellie, Cody, Carsin, Anastasia, Brett, Evelyn, Melanie, Peter, Tyler, Jayden and Elijah; brothers, John (Julie) Everson, Tom (Diane) Everson; brother-in-law, Chuck Marianna; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Helen Everson; and sister, Maryann Marianna.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place 4:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, and one hour prior to Mass at church on Thursday.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson, with Fr. John Gerritts officiating.  A special thanks to Adoray Hospice for their loving and exceptional care.  Memorials are preferred.
