With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Kay Koller-Schubert, a beloved, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Karen was born in Black River Falls, WI, on February 9, 1941, and peacefully passed away on June 7, 2024, at Christian Community Home in Hudson, WI.
Karen’s life was one of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She was blessed with children Kraig (Suzy) Koller, Kurt (Lorie) Koller, cherished grandchildren Nicole, Kory (Cassie), Courtney (Sean), Caitlin Koller, and great-grandchildren Jack, Nate, and little Kooper who is on his way. Karen is survived by her brother Hollis (Lynette) Beede, nieces & nephews.
In her full, joyful journey, Karen married Randall Lee Koller on September 1, 1962, who sadly passed in 1984. Later on, she found love again with Robert Schubert, exchanging vows on June 23, 1989.
The funeral services to honor Karen’s life will be held 3:00 PM September 30th 2024 at O’Connell oFuneral Home, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson, where friends and family will come together to celebrate her legacy. Gathering of family and friends 1 PM -3:00. Karen’s devotion to her faith, her family, and her community will forever be remembered and cherished. May her memory be eternal, and her light continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
On behalf of our family a special thanks to the staff at Christian Community Home for all of their love and support over the years. She truly loved living there and knew how deeply blessed she was to have such great care.
Karen was preceded in death by parents; Hollis & Hilda Beede, husbands Randy Koller & Bob Schubert.
