Kathleen Clare Brenne

Kathleen Clare Brenne, 83, of Hudson, formerly of Ellsworth, WI, died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson, WI.
Kathleen was born on March 13, 1932 in rural Ellsworth, the daughter of Edward and Ida (Langer) Raehsler. She grew up in the Rush River area and on June 7, 1949 she married Lyle Brenne at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (Lost Creek), El Paso Twp.
Kathleen and Lyle made their home in Ellsworth, where she was a wonderful wife and mom. She worked very hard at caring for her family, providing a warm and inviting home and keeping the family together.Kathleen loved music, dancing and spending time with family and friends and caring for others.She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons: David (Kim) Brenne, Lino Lakes, MN; Dan Brenne, Oakdale, MN.Daughter in-law, Jackie Brenne, Red Wing, MN.
Grandchildren: Amy(Dean) Turner, Angie (Steve) Lokker,Ruth Brenne, mother of Amy and Angie, Marissa Tegels, Nick and Aaron Brenne.
Great-grandchildren: Trent, Abbie, Ali, Taylor, Braden, Ari, and Grayson.
Brother Norbert Raehsler and sisters Linda (Tim) Kuechenmeister , Mary (Bob) Johnson, and Donna Buck.
She is further surivived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Lyle, son Duane, great- grandson Bryce and brother Jim, and sisters Florence and Delores.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30am, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Burial will be in the Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Monday at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, and for one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Tuesday.
