Kathleen Jones, age 54 of Minneapolis MN, died on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Hennepin County Medical Center. Kathleen was born April 29, 1960 in Minneapolis MN to parents Leland and Roseann (Laumann) Eggersgluss. Kathleen and her twin sister were one of seven children in the family. Kathleen was united in marriage to Michael Jones, and their union was blessed with two daughters.

Growing up, Kathleen enjoyed camping and fishing, and cherished time with her family, including her cousins. They often said she felt more like their sister than just a cousin. Kathleen worked for many years in print production, but also enjoyed her time as a homemaker. Kathleen was a wonderful mother to her daughters Tiffany and Melissa, and was a great second mother to many of their friends. Her kind and caring demeanor will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Tiffany (Kevin) Petersen and their children, Pierce and Reid; daughter, Melissa (Josh) Doornink and their children Alexander, Paige, Jaxson, and Adalyn; her mother, Rose Eggersgluss; one brother; four sisters; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, Leland Eggersgluss; and one brother.

Funeral Services for Kathleen Jones will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015. Visitation will begin at 10:00am at the church, with Funeral Services at 12:00 noon at the Zion Lutheran Church, 221 Lockwood Street in Woodville, WI with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Baldwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
