Kathleen (“Kathy”) Cecelia Quinn, 76, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away, with family by her side, on Monday September 19th, 2022 at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Stillwater, MN.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held to celebrate Kathy’s life at 11AM on Friday, September 23rd at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St. in Hudson, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass.  Private interment will be at the St. Ann’s Cemetery in Brandon, MN.

Kathy was born on October 18, 1945, to August and Theodora (Wagner) Nootnagel in Alexandria, MN. She graduated from Brandon High School in 1963. Following high school graduation, Kathy worked briefly at 3M in St. Paul, then at the bank in Alexandria.  On October 29, 1964, she was united in marriage to Lester Quinn at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Brandon. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Timothy and Rollin.  Later, she provided daycare for Nicole and Kevin Lagerstrom, and their children Danielle and Tyler have become known as their “grand-friends”.  Kathy also worked for 10 years at Target in Woodbury, MN.

Kathy was very dedicated to family, faith, many friends, and all Minnesota sports teams.  Kathy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lester; children, Timothy (Kimberly) of Las Vegas, NV and Rollin of Hudson, WI; sister Annette (Paul) Mallak of Oakdale, MN; brother, Fred (Wakako) Nootnagel of Virginia Beach, VA; sister Carol Jean (David) Denoff of The Villages, FL; their “grand-friends” Danielle Sebion and Tyler Lagerstrom; “great grand-friend” Owen Sebion, along with other family members and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents.
