Kathleen “Kay” Wallace (nee: Cunningham), age 96, of Hudson, WI, passed away on July 12, 2015 at Red Cedar Canyon in Hudson, WI. 

Kay was born in St. Paul, MN to Richard and Doris (Jewett) Cunningham. She grew up in East St. Paul and graduated from Harding High School in 1937. She was united in marriage to Gerald R. Wallace on July 22, 1939 in Hudson, WI, where they resided and raised their family. Kay was a dedicated, lifelong member of Hudson United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her son, Michael (Janet) Wallace of New Richmond, WI; 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Melanie) Clay, Susan Manning, Karen Yde, Lisa Valentine, David Hawthorne, Eric Kidd, and Erin (Bret) Walejko; 4 great-grandchildren: Adam Valentine, Rebecca Yde, Daniel Yde, and Payton Kidd; brothers-in-law, William Wallace and Dr. James Wallace; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; daughters, Kathleen Kidd and Dianne Wallace; grandson, Kevin Hawthorne; parents; sister, Faith Stevenson; and son-in-law, Eugene Kidd. 

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family or Hudson United Methodist Church.
