Keith Price

Keith H. Price, age 69 of Roberts died May 1st, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. Keith was born on December 30, 1950 in Menomonie, Wisconsin; the son of Ralph and Clarice (Koolmo) Price. He attended elementary school in Hudson before he graduated from the River Falls High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the armed forces where he proudly served in the United States Army. On April 15, 1978, he was united in marriage to Deanna Lyn Parish at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson. Keith worked thirty years for the Ford Motor Plant in St. Paul. He was their go to guy as a utility repairman before he would retire in 2000. But retirement didn’t keep him still. He would become a groundskeeper for the Badlands Golf Course, which was a dream job to him, as he loved to play golf. Keith was just a down to earth type of guy. He could shoot the breeze playing a round of golf, hang out with the guys in the deer shack hunting, or jump on his Harley for a countryside ride. He was also known to show off to the kids that he was a talented downhill snow skier or his nifty moves at Country Fest, which he never missed in thirty years. He enjoyed the little things in life and took great pride in his family, house, and neighborhood as he served as their watch guard. He loved the simplicity of a quiet night and having an Old Milwaukee Beer.

Keith will forever remain in the hearts of his wife and best friend Deanna; children Faye (Scott) Sarvela of Duluth, Tracy (Mike) Williams of River Falls, Derek (Nicole) Price of Baldwin, Sheila Price of Hammond, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sister Sandra (Barbara) Neal-Price of Yuba City, California; Step mother Patricia Price of Menomonie, step sister Teri Dillon of Menomonie; brothers/sisters-in-law Larry Rieck of Etrick, Mary Kay (Morton) Fields of Cedar, MN, Judy (Johnny) Calor of Alma, Karen Jacobs of Stillwater; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of good friends.  His parents, parents-in-law David and Dorothy Parish; brother David Jr., sister-in-law Judy Rieck, brother-in-law Kenneth Mueller, nephew Robby Parsish precede him in death.

Intimate family funeral services were entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes. Burial is in the Warren Cemetery in Roberts with casketbearers being Jerry Wold, Mike Neibors, David Korbel, Jon Parish, Greg Stark, and Jerry Schweizer. Memorials preferred to the discretion of the family.
