Kenneth Clark age 82 of Lakeland, Minnesota died peacefully Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul following complications of heart surgery. Ken was born on May 24, 1935 in Cottonwood County, Minnesota; the son of Elmer and Mary (Haeska) Clark. He was raised in Sanborn, Minnesota where he graduated from high school. On September 1, 1966, he was united in marriage to Barbara Clymer in South Dakota. This union would be blessed with three children and over 50 years of memories. Ken was a gifted carpenter who worked as a self-contractor in home improvements his entire life.

Ken was a proud Mason who was a member of the Accacia Lodge 51 in Cottage Grove. He was a past Master and enjoyed the fellowship of his fellow masons. Ken also took great pride in servicing as sexton of Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeland. He took great gratification in serving grieving families and maintained the cemetery as if it was his own. Ken enjoyed gardening and making his infamous homegrown horseradish sauce. Using his talents as a carpenter, he enjoyed hunting for and making black diamond willow walking sticks. He appreciated how each stick had its own unique character. For those who knew Ken, they gained a quick understanding of his love of Farmall Tractors, most specifically the Farmall C.

Ken will remain in the hearts of his wife Barb; children Reverend Dawnlynn Greeney of Eagan, Scott (Sara) Clark of Hudson, Jennifer (Brian) Roeller of Bayport, four grandchildren Jacqueline, Joshua, Austin, Maren; five nephews, and the extended Clymer family. His parents and five siblings precede him in death.
