Kenneth D. Anderson

Kenneth David Anderson, age 97 of Ellsworth, died July 4th, 2022 at Preferred Senior Living in Ellsworth. Kenneth was born on January 20, 1925, the son of Axel and Nellie (Kronquist) Anderson.

He attended Utah Elementary in Ellsworth, graduating from the Ellsworth High School. On May 25, 1946 he married Victoria Wredberg at the Harris Baptist Church in Harris Minnesota. They had 5 sons; Gerald, Dean, Dale, Jim, and Jeffrey.

Kenneth was a dairy & poultry farmer. Along with jobs at 3M and Pittsburgh Plate. He served as a Trimbelle town board supervisor, Pierce County Board of Supervisors, Pierce County Fair board, and Hager Telecom board. Lifelong member of Bethel Covenant Church. Loved to travel and camp, visited all states except Hawaii. Enjoyed family time especially when could play cards. Liked to follow the Packers and Brewers.

Kenneth is survived by his sons: Gerald (Diane) Anderson of Ellsworth, Dean (Jeani) Anderson of Wabasha, MN, Dale (Judy) Anderson of Maiden Rock, Jim (Cindy) Anderson of Ellsworth; grandchildren: Kyle (Jen) Anderson, Sherry (Steve) Marson, Sandy (Brent) Place, Kim (Vic) Kooyer, Patrick (Maggie) Anderson, Shelly (Chris) Boelter, Ben (Liz) Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Curt Anderson, Steve (Leigh Ann) Anderson, Tim (Kayla) Anderson, Justin (Natasha) Anderson; great grandchildren Colleen (Kyle) Stone, Tyler (Jennifer) Marson, Jasmine Place, Jared Marson, Caleb Boelter, Taite Place, Conner Anderson, Avery Boelter, Weston Anderson, Amalia Anderson, Alexandria Anderson, Malory Anderson, Felicity Anderson, Samantha Anderson, Violet Kooyer, Gentri Anderson, Lyla Anderson, Noah Anderson, Carlie Anderson and Axel Anderson; great-great grandchild Carter Stone, and niece; Susan Monty nephew; Bruce (Joan) Wreberg. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Victoria, son Jeffrey, brother Gordon, sister Elda, daughters-in-law; Nancy Anderson, Margaret Anderson and great-grandson, Dawson Boelter.

Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, July 12th at Bethel Covenant Church, W8405 County KK, Ellsworth. Livestream on Bethel Covenant Church Facebook page. Visitation will be Monday, July 11th from 5-8pm at Bethel as well as one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials are preferred. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Ellsworth.
