Kenneth Irving Moore, age 93, of River Falls, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Comforts of Home in River Falls. He was born on July 3, 1924 in Green Bay, WI to Ernest and Treva (Marvin) Moore. In 1943 he graduated from high school in Appleton, WI and attended two years of Business College. On February 18, 1950 Kenneth was united in marriage to Dolores Ann Wagner in Fond Du Lac, WI. He was an accountant by trade and worked for the State of Wisconsin retiring in January of 1985.
Kenneth was very proud of being a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served during WWll and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the River Falls Lions Club for several years. Kenneth and Dolores wintered in Arizona for 22 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Treva Moore; daughter-in-law, Linda Moore and his six siblings.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dolores of River Falls; three sons, Michael of Necedah, WI, Steven (Zenda) of River Falls, WI, Thomas (Sandy) of Siren, WI; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Kenneth will be 12:00 PM (Noon) on Friday, February 2nd at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 225 South 3rd St., River Falls, WI with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
