Ken Swanson, age 58, owner of Plainview Stables in Troy Township, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday evening, December 11, 2010. He was born Aug. 28, 1952, was raised in Roseville, Minn., and graduated from Frank Kellogg High School.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cheryl Swanson (nee Garrison); daughter, Rachael, and son, Jake; mother, Jean Swanson (nee Ashbach); and brothers, Roger and Bruce Swanson; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Swanson.

A memorial gathering will be held for Ken from 5 until 8:00 pm, with a service of remembrance at 7:30, on Wednesday, December 15th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, 715-386-3725.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
