Kimberly Kitchner

Kimberly Ann Kitchner, nee Glyzinski, age 55 of Boyceville, passed away peacefully Thursday April 19th 2018 at Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire following complications of a stroke surrounded by family members. Kim was born on August 10, 1962 in Hillsboro Wisconsin, the daughter of Stan and Alice Glyzinski. She was grew up in Hammond where she attended St. Croix Central Schools. Upon graduation she started her career as a CNA, at many local elderly care facilities.  On March 24, 1988, she was united in marriage to Charles ‘Chuck’ Kitchner.

Kim enjoyed working around the home, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Everyone Kim knew benefited from her passion for baking and canning goodies.  She enjoyed many hobbies from crocheting to woodworking.

Kim is survived by her children Megan Kitchner of Boyceville, Charlie (Lori) Kitchner of Waupun, Wisconsin and their son Brandon; Kevin (Tonya) Kitchner of Elmwood and their children Brett and Brandy; siblings Rodney (Corine) Glyzinski of Washington, Sue (Bob) Trudell of Hammond, Becky Hanson of Hammond, Tony (Connie) Glyzinski of Stillwater, siblings-in-law Mike (Linda) of Wyoming, Diane (Barney) Loback of Colfax, Ronald (Julie) Kitchner of Wheeler, and sister-in-law Cleo Kitchner of Woodville; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Chuck, her parents Stan and Alice, brothers-in-law Ron Hanson and Bill Kitchner.

A service of remembrance will be Friday April 27thth at 6PM at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4pm to 6pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner where she will be reunited with her husband of 30 years. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family. Memorial services and cremation services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin.
