Krissa Coleman Funeral December 18, 2021 from Faith Community on Vimeo.

Krissa Coleman, age 51 of Roberts, WI passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2021 surrounded by family. Krissa was born on February 18, 1970 in Story City, Iowa to parents Roger and Donna (Eide) Reisetter. She graduated from Radcliffe High School and continued her education at University of Northwestern where she met her husband Brett. The last position Krissa held before her early retirement was Director at Hazel Mackin Community Library in Roberts, WI.

Krissa will be remembered for her involvement in the community and for her spirit and smile that would light up the room. She worked diligently to make everyone feel welcomed, loved and inspired to seek Jesus.  She supported her community by shopping locally, volunteering and advocating for freedom and local government. She loved to host parties and be around her family and friends, whether that be with her church group, playing pickleball, or enjoying a cup of coffee or cocktail with her girlfriends. Many will remember her impeccable eye for fashion, interior design or finding a delicious recipe. So many things brought her enjoyment in life but nothing brought her more joy than being a wife, mom and supporting others.

She will remain in the hearts of her loving husband of 28 years Brett; daughter Kalena (Caleb) Davis, son Blake; father Roger Reisetter; sister Lana Rogers; brother Troy Reisetter; father and mother-in-laws Rueben and Darlene Coleman; brothers and sisters-in-laws David Coleman, Carolyn (Eric) Lent and Tracy (Tim) Lindstrom; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Donna Reisetter.

A memorial service to celebrate Krissa’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday December 18th at Faith Community Church in Hudson, WI. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI and one hour prior to the service, at the church on Saturday. The memorial service will be livestreamed through the Faith Community Church website. Memorials are preferred to the Coleman family.

    • Brett,
I am so very sorry to hear the news of the passing of your wife. Although I didn’t know Karissa, i imagine she was as special as you are too. I have always considered you a friend and would have considered her the same. I’m praying for your peace and strength during this time. Thinking of you and your family daily!

    • Our deepest sympathies to you Brett and your family. We were so shocked to hear about Krissa. We’ll be thinking of you and hope that being with close family can help ease the pain of Krissa’s passing.

    • Although I did not know Krissa personally, I almost felt like I did….because almost every time I went into the library, she was there. She was a vibrant, visible, warm, & welcoming presence. I was instantly drawn to her. She was even more beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. When she left the library, I was devastated. But nothing compares to knowing that she is gone forever now. My sincerest sympathy to her family. We all need to remind ourselves that she is an angel in heaven now, even though she is terribly missed on earth. She has her wings & she’s free. She will never be forgotten.

    • Brett, my heart is broken for you. I am thinking of and praying for you and your family. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Amy

    • My sincere sympathies to you Brett, Kalena and Blake. Krissa was such a warm, loving woman. She definitely brought the sunshine in to everyone’s day. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

    • Our deepest sympathies to you all! What a wonderful woman, who will be missed by many!! Prayers for the family!

    • Krissa’s family and friends- you have my deepest condolences.
She was such an amazing director at the library, always making everything more warm and bright! Can’t believe Covid took you Krissa- you are making heaven a more beautiful place 😭

    • Krissa was larger than life. A beautiful person inside and out.
We met her while she was at the Roberts library. She was the face of the library, always smiling and welcoming.
She was what every library hopes to have in a director. Roberts community library was lucky to have her and when she left the library we felt her absence everyday. And now we will feel her absence even more as she has been taken from this world way too soon.
      Rest In Peace Krissa.

      Robert and Joan Hanley

    • Wow – to say this was difficult to swallow is an understatement. Anyone who ever met or knew Krissa was blessed by her beautiful spirit of joy. She will certainly be remembered for lighting up any room she walked into, as the love of Jesus shone radiantly through her. Lifting up your family in prayer, as I know Krissa will be greatly missed. May the Lord comfort you all in the days ahead. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
