Kurt E. Wheeler, age 38, left us too soon on February 18, 2025. Kurt was born on February 20, 1986, to parents Sandy Bibeau and Dale Wheeler. He attended Baldwin Highschool and went on to work for GFL as a heavy equipment operator until his cancer diagnosis in July of 2024.
Kurt was known for his adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors. Whether he was fishing, hunting, or camping, he treasured the moments spent with family and friends. His passion for nature was only rivaled by his love for his children, who were the center of his universe. He was always there for anyone in need, offering support and laughter. In his downtime, Kurt enjoyed playing on his PS5.
Kurt will remain in the hearts of his mother Sandy (Bryan) Bibeau; father Dale (Karen) Wheeler; children Kandice, Kordell, Kendric, and Mariah; the mothers of his children Crystine Wheeler and Rhonda Pace; brothers Adam Wheeler and Nathan Wheeler; step siblings Natalie Jore and Nick Jore; half siblings Tim Schalow and Melissa Lemsky; step grandma Mary Stachawski; god parents and Aunt and Uncle Heidi and Russ Halderson; work brother Joseph Metzger; god daughter Winnie Metzger and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walter and Norma Olson; paternal grandparents Harry and Emma Wheeler; ex father-in-law Cliff Carroll.
A funeral service for Kurt will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville, WI. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. with the service starting at 1 p.m.. Lunch following Service; Memorials are preferred to the family.
