Lacy Ruth Ann Smirnov, age 53, of River Falls, WI formerly of Red Wing, MN passed away Sunday November 21, 2021 after a 2-year battle with an aggressive Melanoma Cancer. Lacy was born to Lana Glass on Oct 17, 1968 and on June 6, 1974 was adopted by Rudy Smirnov to be her forever Dad.
Lacy was an avid fan of Minnesota sports, especially the Vikings. She made a proud career of customer service. Her last job as manager at Tip Top Taxi was one of her favorites. She took immense pride in providing safe transportation for the people of River Falls. She was a friend to whomever needed one, and always tried to help someone in need when she was able. Lacy loved her children more than anything in the world and always considered them her greatest accomplishment in life. Her happiest moments were spent sharing her love with them.
Lacy is survived by her mother, Lana; children: Bailey Smirnov, Taya Hemphill-Lewis, and Macrae Hemphill; siblings: Ben Smirnov and Candi Jarocki; uncles: Tom Glass and Dell Glass; aunt, Dorie Schulte-Keeley; niece Kala Smirnov-Flesberg; nephew, Cooper Jarocki, cousins: Tim Schulte, Lisa Contris, Johnathan and Alexandria Glass, along with many other relatives and friends.
Lacy was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Klein, Dad, Rudy Smirnov, grandparents: Butch and Florence Glass, Rudolf and Anna Smirnov, and Uncle Duward Schulte.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 18th from 1pm to 5pm at Clyde’s Corner in Beldenville.
