Larry Edwin Ferg

Larry Edwin Ferg age 66 of Woodville, formerly of Baldwin died unexpectedly Sunday June 20th 2010 at his residence. Larry was born in Woodville on June 26th, 1943 to Edwin and Frances (Bosman) Ferg. Larry was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Woodville. Larry was proud to be in the last graduating class of Woodville in 1961; before they consolidated. In 1971, Larry married Sandra Ann Veenendall at First Reformed Church in Baldwin. They were blessed with three children; Bradley, Brian, and Brenda. Larry’s love of farming was always his joy. In 1980, he had to take a leave due to health reasons. From 1982 to 1996, he worked for Wisconsin DHIA (Dairy Herd Improvement Association) as a milk technician. In 1996, he retired permanently due to health reasons. If anyone knew Larry, they knew he loved to read. It was not uncommon for him to visit the library, check out, and read 10 to 12 books a week! His favorite was a good western fiction book; like Louie L’Amour. But his greatest love came from being surrounded by his family as they were his pride and joy. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Lester Veenendall. He is survived by his wife Sandra, sons Bradley (Tricia) Ferg of Eagan, MN, Brian (Jess) Ferg of Baldwin, daughter Brenda (German) Luna of Woodville, three grandchildren Lauren Ferg, Avery Ferg, Marley Luna, sisters JoAnn (Larry) Geurkink of Luck, Nancy (Don) Elhorn of Hudson, Connie (Allen) Radunzel of Woodville, brother Jon (Lynda) Ferg of Baldwin, mother-in-law Eloise Veenendall, brothers/sisters-in-law Mike Veenendall of Baldwin, Roger (Debbie) Veenendall of Baldwin, Gerry (Bonnie) Veenendall of Baldwin, Tim (Bonnie) Veenendall of Baldwin, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
