LaVerne I. Palme, age 83, of Hammond, WI, died Jan. 4, 2022 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, WI.

She is survived by her sons, Tom (Janet) and Greg; grandchildren: TJ (Brianna), Michael (Karissa), Alex (Kelsey), and Sarah; great-granddaughter, Isabella; and sister, JoAnn Follmer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Effie (Gerbracht) Stolberg; husband, Arnold “Arnie”; sisters, Betty (Carl) Nelson and Dorothy (Meryl) Sanders; and brother-in-law, Richard Follmer.

Memorial Service for LaVerne will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Interment at Willow River Cemetery.
