Leo “Butch” H. Rohl, age 71, of Hudson, WI died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, April 25, 2016. Leonard Harold Rohl was born on October 18, 1944 in River Falls, WI to Harold and Martha (Cernohous) Rohl. He was a graduate of River Falls High School. On February 12, 1966 he was united in marriage to Marilyn Rose Nelson in River Falls. Butch was a dairy farmer for much of his life, he was also a cattle dealer for the South St. Paul Stockyards, and did custom bailing in the area. After he quit farming he started a partnership in Rohl Limestone, Inc. and retired completely in 2005.

Family was very important to Butch, and he really enjoyed his grandchildren. Being able to attend their many actives brought him great joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Martha; wife, Marilyn; son, Brian Rohl; sister, Karen Rohl; brother-in law, Gary Klecker.

Butch is survived by his daughters, Sandra Rohl and Stacy (Justin) Bystrom both of River Falls; grandchildren, Lowein Bystrom, III of Milwaukee, WI, Tyson Bystrom of River Falls, Winston Bystrom of Ellsworth, WI, Serena Bystrom of River Falls, Brian Johnson of River Falls, Lilly Johnson of River Falls; he is further survived by his siblings, Cynthia Klecker of River Falls, Herbert (Dianne) Rohl of River Falls, Rita Spille of Baldwin, WI, Patricia (David) Wolf of Hudson, WI, Gerard (Diane) Rohl of Buffalo, MN, Christopher (Sheila) Rohl of Roberts, WI; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, River Falls, WI. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Thursday at the church and 1 hour prior to Mass on Friday. Interment will be in St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery.
