Lillian Peterson age 90 of Roseville, formerly of Hudson died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul on Thursday November 3, 2016. Lillian was born on October 20, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the daughter of Charles and Minnie Ann (Reece) Russell.  She was raised in Minneapolis attending Blaine Elementary School prior to Phillips Junior High. She would graduate from South High in Minneapolis.  She would be united in marriage to Martin Davis in September of 1948 to which children Kathleen, Therese, Martin, and Phillip were born. Sadly, he would precede her in death in 1985. For many years, she worked as an administrative assistant for Deloitt & Touche in Minneapolis; an accounting and consulting firm. On July 9, 1989, Lillian would be united in marriage to LeRoy Peterson.  Most recently, they lived in Roseville but lived in Hudson for many years prior.

Lillian loved time spend sewing or quilting with friends. She took great pleasure in being a member of a Christian Women’s Club as she had a great faith. One of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her long time friends, ‘the Merry Weds’. Once a month, these longtime junior high friends would visit for coffee or lunch; but remained friends for over 70 years! On quiet days, she would read fictional novels or an engaging political article as well as playing the piano. She and LeRoy had great memories wintering down south at the Paradise RV Park in Arizona.

Lillian will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her; husband LeRoy; children Kathleen Ulrich, Therese Davis; Martin (Faye) Davis, Phillip (Vicki) Davis; grandchildren Douglas (Jen) Ulrich, Martin (Jes) Davis, Matt (Heather) Davis; Rene’ Ulrich, Ann Ulrich, Daniel (Tina) Brill, Brittney Davis, Blake Davis; great grandchildren Kayli, Allie, Kaitlyn Ulrich; Marty & Grace Davis; Ethan King; Matthew & Evelyn Davis; Callie Brill; brother John Russell; step children Lynn Grace, Kathleen Thompson, Laurie Peterson, Steven (Kerry) Peterson, David (Patricia) Peterson, Ray Peterson, Gary Peterson; step grandchildren Brandon & Bridget Rodriguis; Noel, Kyle, Cecelia Thompson; Anthony Peterson-Parks; Brett & Brieana Thompson; Clayton DeWald; Step great grandchildren Kayla and Mia Rodriguis; Kya Nolan; Lucca and Mark Thompson; Owen DeWald.
