Linda Lou Wallace

Linda Lou Wallace, age 75, passed away on November 28, 2024, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Born on November 26, 1949, to parents Kenneth and Verna Mae Retherford, Linda grew up in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School. Over a long career, Linda worked as an executive secretary at United Refrigeration, DiaBond, Inc., and Woolford Engineering. She also tended bar at the Rustic Hut in Burkhardt for many years. Linda married Raymond Wallace on May 26, 1973 and together made their home first in Burkhardt, then in Hudson, and finally in Roberts.

Linda had a zest for life that shone brightly in her favorite activities. Whether she was trying her luck at the casino, casting a line on the serene waters while fishing, or immersing herself in the pages of a good book, she found happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

Linda will remain in the hearts of her husband Raymond; children Kari (Michael Sapko) Wallace and Ryan Wallace; brother Randy (Becky) Retherford and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Verna Mae.

Honoring Linda’s request, there will be no services at this time.
