Lisa Marie Johnson, age 53, of Prescott, WI died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. She was born on June 9, 1966 in River Falls, WI to Jack and Diane (Hauth) Johnson. She was a 1984 graduate of Ellsworth High School and completed two years vocational training in Accounting from Dakota County Technical College. Lisa married Donald H. Johnson on December 29, 2016 in Prescott, WI.
Lisa worked for the State of Minnesota for 26 years, in several areas, after completing her accounting education.
Lisa was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She had the most infectious smile that said it all. She had an unforgettable laugh, happy, sweet, vibrant personality beyond measure. Her kindness made a tremendous impact on so many people, virtually everyone who met her. Lisa loved her Packers, walking her dogs, and camping. She adored Donnie, her kids and her grandbabies. Family and friends were the most important part of her life, and she lived it to the fullest. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harry and Helen Johnson; maternal grandparents, Edward and Isabel Hauth; parents-in-law, Donald L. and Judie Johnson; aunt, Judy and uncle, Peter.
Lisa is lovingly survived by husband, Donnie Johnson; her parents, Jack & Diane Johnson; children, Tashia Gray, Stephanie Gray, Andrea (Zac Benedict) Gray, and Tim (Kelsey) Johnson; grandchildren, Gabe Turner, Mackenzie, Kage, Quinn & Kendall Benedict, and Baby Boy Johnson expected in September; siblings, Shelly (Peter) Lehmann, Kathy (Scott) Miller, and Susie (Ken) Blake; in-laws, Lynn (Wanda) Johnson, Lonnie (Jean) Johnson, and Eric (Steph) Johnson; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and more family and friends.
A memorial service for Lisa will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16th at The Old Ptaceks Event Center, 1449 Orrin Road, Prescott, WI. Gathering of family and friends will be at the same location from 1:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. A luncheon will follow the service.
