Lois Alberg, age 93 of Woodbury, died peacefully June 26th, 2021. Lois was born on April 9, 1928 in St. Paul, the daughter of Martin and Edith (Falkenberg) Espersen. She was raised in the Carver Lake area of Maplewood. On September 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Donald Alberg. To this union, three children were blessed. Sadly, he would precede her in death in 2014. Don and Lois farmed in Woodbury for many years. Being raised on a dairy farm, she was well versed in hard work and taking pride in the work you do. She loved being a homemaker and entertaining for everyone, especially on holidays. She was a gifted baker and will be fondly remembered for her apple pies. When the kids were older, she worked and owned Ocean 7 Gift Shop in St. Paul.

Lois is preceded by her husband Donald, daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Dale Allen, and great grandson Landon Krings. She leaves to celebrate her life; her son Mark (Grace) Alberg, daughter Linda Alberg; grandchildren Craig (Heikki) Alberg, Rachel (Brad) Krings, great grandchildren Kari and Declan Alberg, Ava, Evelynn, and Ivan Krings.

A Celebration of Life for Lois will be from 4 to 7pm, Wednesday, July 14th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 So. 11th Street in Hudson. Interment will be private at Guardian Angels Cemetery in Oakdale. Memorials preferred to the discretion of the family. Funeral services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson.
