Lola Schingledecker, age 94, of Ellsworth, died peacefully on February 13, at Ellsworth Health Services.

Lola, daughter of Lars and Clara (Dumond) Larson was born on August 13, 1927.

Lola married John Schingledecker in 1945 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.

Lola and John had one child, Kenneth.

Lola served many throughout her working life as a: caretaker, bakery worker, store clerk (including many years at the Maple Island Milk Store in East Ellsworth) and Smead Mfg. employee.

Lola is survived by her son, Kenneth (Jody); sister Anna; grandchildren: Gina (Dan) Jensen, Bobbi (Bruce) Zignego, Brandi (Lonnie) Welty, Ryan (Justine) Schingledecker; great-grandchildren: Miranda, Nathan, Kylie, Kelsi, Bret, Chase, Bailey, Alexis, Cooper, Logan, Bruce, Madelyn, John; and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, great-grandson Hunter, sisters Maxine, Marian, brothers Laverne, Marvin.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ: W5706 State Highway 72, Ellsworth, WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery.
