Lorraine Margaret Deneau, age 97 of Hudson, WI, formerly of St. Paul, MN, passed away March 7, 2018 at the Comforts of Home Assisted Living in Hudson.

Lorraine was born on June 21, 1920 in Great Falls, MT, to parents Benjamin and Bertha (Corboy) Wigfield. Lorraine was raised in St. Paul and graduated from Mechanic Arts High School before attending school for clerical work. Lorraine was united in marriage to Armand Deneau on April 9, 1941 in Seattle, WA. The couple moved to West St. Paul and were blessed with three children. The family enjoyed taking their camping trailer to Square Lake in Stillwater, MN. After Armand’s death in 1979, Lorraine continued to spend summers by Square Lake enjoying the chance to meet new people. She was fond of playing church hymns on her organ.

Lorraine will remain in the hearts of her children, Shirlee (Norm) Feyereisen, and James (Sherry) Deneau; 11 grandchildren, Barb (Brent) Lundeen, Diane (Gary) Moore, Susan (Kevin) Branstad, Tom (Pam) Feyereisen, Mike Feyereisen, Chris Feyereisen, Kathy (Jade) Gross, Brian (Sarah) Deneau, Craig (Christy) Deneau, Kristi (Hank) Nailor, and Bob (Michelle) Deneau; 24 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brielle, Justine, Colten, Tanner, Nicole, Emily, Joey, Corey, Carter, Ariel, Hunter, Maverick, Abby, Clark, Paxton, Beckum, Nolan, Caitlin, Taylor, Connor, Lauren, Hannah, and Jake; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Cole, Sommer, and Lucas; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Armand; son, Jack Deneau; her parents; and her brother and sister.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to remember Lorraine will be held on Monday, March 12, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., with a 5:00 p.m. prayer service at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. Interment at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
