  1. Mrs. Miller, not only raised her children she also had a wonderful influence on her neighborhood kids. As young children Mrs. Miller was always there for us (the Dunbar kids). We can remember the popcorn balls she made at Halloween and the homemade treats that we were welcome to snack on. She always had time and make us feel important. The path between our houses was well worn with Sara and Becky running back and forth! If our mom needed some ingredient for dinner, that’s where we were sent. The Miller house was always bustling with life and had a well stocked pantry! Lorraine was part of our 4H memories, I remember her helping us put together “babysitting” bags for one of our projects. She also had the most beautiful flower gardens. Lorraine was a great friend to my mom and sweet second mom to us kids. We want to say thank you so much and that we were blessed to be her neighbors. Love, Jeanne, Chriss, Scott and Becky Dunbar. Tom, Lorraine and our dad, Wayne, are having a great neighbor reunion this summer!!
