LuAnn Rose Filkins, age 68, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 26, 2022. LuAnn was born on July 13, 1954 to Donald and Georgia Mae Hildebrandt in Prescott, Wisconsin. LuAnn graduated from Prescott High School in 1972, she was employed in Hastings at Smead after graduation.

She met the love of her life, Donald Filkins and married on March 5, 1977. Together they farmed for several years. Luann enjoyed snowmobiling, card playing, taking road trips, leg wrestling, and entertaining family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents: Donald and Georgia Mae Hildebrandt; brother, Ken Hildebrandt; sister-in-law Mickey Hildebrandt; brother-in-law John Kemmerer. Luann will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was so loved

A funeral for LuAnn will be at 5:00pm on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Prescott United Church of Christ: 206 Locust St. Prescott, WI 54021. A visitation will start at 2:00pm until the start of the service. Burial will be at Pine Glen Cemetery.
