Luanne Rimer, age 66, of Hudson, WI, passed away the evening of May 9th, 2020 at Prescott Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. Luanne was born on September 4th, 1953 to parents Ronald & Mayelva Rimer in Hudson, WI. She attended Hudson High School before moving to Eau Claire to enroll in college courses. When Luanne was satisfied with her education, she went on to work for AT&T. Her time with AT&T took her all over the country. Luanne lived in Seattle, Denver, Madison, & spent time in many other cities during her career with them. Most recently, Luanne worked for Interim Hospice managing their phone network & dispatch. She was always connected, & loved spending time on her smartphone & Facebook. While at home, Luanne loved to have cooking shows on. She was a big animal lover. Luanne had many rescue dogs over the years & would attend a dog show any chance she had. Luanne also had a special place in her heart for horses, & would go to horse auctions to admire her favorite large animal. Luanne loved her pets, but she truly loved spending time with her family. Aunt Luanne was everyone’s favorite babysitter. She always had a stash of Twizzlers & soda, (especially Mountain Dew). Luanne would take her nephews to visit her grandma, & she always looked forward to the annual09/04/1953 family reunion on the old farm, located on the Rush River just outside of El Paso, WI. Luanne was a free-spirited, warm-hearted, & fun-loving daughter, sister, aunt, & friend. Her laugh & smile will leave their mark on the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her.

Luanne will remain in the hearts of her father, Ron; her brother, Ken (Jayne) Rimer; her nephews, Kenneth (Dyann) Rimer & James (Cori Price) Rimer; her great nieces & nephews, Kayla, Alexa, Elana, Peyton, Rachel, & Kaitlyn; as well as many co-workers, friends, & extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mayelva; & niece, Natasha Weigel.
