Lucille Grace Hansen, age 84 of Roberts, WI passed away tragically on September 19, 2012 at her residence.  Lucille was born March 5, 1928 in Polk County, WI; the daughter of Arthur and Essie (Johnson) McKenzie.  She was united in marriage on November 6, 1949 to Harry Russell Hansen.  Their marriage was blessed with three children:  Pamela, Jill and Dean.  Lucille provided for her family as a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother.  In her younger years, she loved to bowl, but most of all enjoyed playing cards.  Lucille could bake the best bread and make homemade jams and jellies- which the whole family looked forward to; the grandchildren especially loved the jams and jellies on crackers.  In her later years, she enjoyed golfing and working on jig saw puzzles with her family and always a fun game of cards.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Ann Hansen of Hudson, daughter, Jill (Marvin Lowell) Burton of Roberts and grandchildren:  Jenell (Bryan) Neidermyer, Rev. Marvin Craig (Cristi) Burton, Kelly (Anthony) Bolton and Rev. Mark (Joy) Burton; and son, Dean (Glenda) Hansen of Roberts and grandchildren:  David (Michelle) Hansen, Steven (Cyndie) Hansen and Gina (Nathan) Lyons; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Nelson; and brothers, Earl (Snookie) McKenzie and Melvin McKenzie.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry; great grandson, Landon Hansen; and several brothers and sisters.  
 
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ, 1001 Birch Drive and one hour prior the the service Monday.  A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ.  Interment will take place at the Warren Cemetery in Roberts.  Urn bearers will be:  Craig Burton, Mark Burton, Steven Hansen, David Hansen, Mark Hansen and Bryan Neidermyer.  Cremation services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin (715) 684-3434.  www.oconnellfuneralhomes.com
