Lucille “Lucy” F. Larson

Lucille “Lucy” Frances Erickson/Larson, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9th in Hudson, WI. She was born in Minneapolis on November 11, 1926 to John S and Anna Helena Peterson (nee Turnquist). She attended the Northline Country School and graduated from Hudson High School.

Lucy will always be remembered as a fun, loving and thoughtful woman. A champion of her family and friends, she took great pride in the accomplishments of those she loved. She never forgot a birthday, an anniversary, was not to be missed at a family gathering or holiday party. To her, family was everything. She was the glue that held the generations together. She was an active member of Mt Zion Lutheran Church. Lucy loved playing bridge with her lifelong friends and was a talented golfer, even once scoring a hole in one. In her retirement she was well traveled but particularly enjoyed wintering at her second home in Sun City, AZ and spending summers at Benoit Lake, WI. A proud Swede, an afternoon favorite was fikka (Swedish coffee and treats) with family and friends.

Lucy will be remembered in the hearts of her daughters Karen (Philip) McConville of Hudson, Julie (Dennis) Myhre of Eau Claire, and Elaine (Greg) Dean of Gulfport, MS; her 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and the rest of her extended family. In short, We all love Lucy. She is proceeded in death by her parents; her husbands, Wesley V Erickson and Perry M Larson; and her brothers J Sherman and Raymond Peterson.
