Lynn Marie Ward, age 77 of Hudson, Wisconsin, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on November 22, 2023 at her home in North Hudson, Wisconsin.

Lynn was born on June 30, 1946 the daughter of Bernam and June (Bignell) Catura in Plum City, Wisconsin.

Lynn was united in marriage with Donald Ward in 1964. Together they were blessed with three wonderful children.

Lynn had a passion for life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Lynn was a very involved mother who helped start the North Hudson Kids Karnival to help raise funds for North Hudson Elementary. Later, Lynn and her husband, Don, owned and operated D & L Bar in North Hudson. Together with friends, they started the Frost Your Nuts motorcycle runs, which still runs today. Even after Lynn and Don divorced, Lynn continued to bartend and enjoyed the socializing and friendships that formed. She was a night owl that loved playing Bingo and occasionally going to the Casino. Lynn genuinely enjoyed life. Her love and passion for people would show in the connections she made. She will be deeply missed by many.

Lynn will live on in the hearts of her children Shawn (Renee) Ward, Kristen (Jevon Jackson) Ward; daughter-in-law Darci Ward; grandchildren Paige, Shane (Jayla), Nate (Hunter), Jayda, Jevon Jr.; great-grandchildren Violyt, Donny, Lila, Dallas; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bernam and June Catura; son Robert Ward; and significant other Bill Running.

A Visitation for Lynn will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson, WI 54016. A Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St. Hudson, WI 54016 with a Visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
