Lynne Reigle

Lynne Anne Reigle, age 66 of Ellsworth, died peacefully May 19, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Lynne was born on March 29, 1956 in West Bend, Wisconsin; the daughter of Harold ‘Buddy’ andEileen (Schommer) Perkins. She was raised in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, where she would graduate from high school. She attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where she received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree. Lynne loved life and those she had the pleasure of meeting. She was one of those people who connected with everyone and made you feel special. Her caring and generous heart was appreciated by all who had the privilege to call her friend or be an acquaintance. On July 1, 1978 she said a resounding “I Do!” as she married the love of her life;Ronald Reigle at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. They were soulmates, who not only complemented each other but brought out the best in each other. They loved each other through high school, college and 44 years of marriage. Lynne was a dedicated mother who cherished her children Sam and Chelsea, who brought her the utmost joy.As much as she cherished being a mom, she took great pleasure displaying her fashionable taste. She operated Wee Friends children’s retail clothing in Richfield which wonFamily Favorite Award from MNParent 2 years in a row in the early 90s. She worked at many other jobs including teaching aerobics, teaching art classes, working as a florist, and working for several years as a manager at Creative Kidstuff. Lynne had a taste that was admired by many. She had the ability to see past the initial appearance of a given room or landscape and add that little something that tied everything together. She enjoyed seeing her friends at the YMCA in Red Wing where she did water aerobics or catching up with her Multiple Sclerosis support group. She loved being around others. She was also a gourmet cook. Nothing made her happier than planning and cooking for family and friends. Her dinners for birthdays and holiday feasts were legendary. A quiet day cozied up with a Bon Appétit magazine inspired many a dish. She loved the house of her dreams, that Ron designed and watching the beautiful butterflies and birds all around them. But above all, she treasured her family. She adored Ron, revered her children, and could not get enough of her grandchildren who were the apple in her eye! She was the crazy, loving grandma they called NeeNee who loved to spend the day with them and spoil them best she could. She always looked forward to visiting family in Kewaskum where they would sit for hours around the table talking and laughing (and laughing some more). On the other hand, a quiet morning with Ron while drinking her tea and listening to the birds’ sing was priceless. Simply put, she was the heart of their family.Lynne will remain in the hearts of her husband and best friend Ron; children Sam (Janet) Reigle, Chelsea(Matthew) Schaefer; grandchildren Cade, Rory, Owen, Ada, Ender; siblings Patrick (Caren Town) Perkins, Michael (Patricia) Perkins, Tim (Renee) Perkins, Pam Perkins, Tracy (Scott) Amerling, and Candy Behmalong with her favorite nieces and nephews. Her parents precede her in death.
