Mären Jean Engebretson Dahlke, age 40 of Hudson, passed away after a very long and courageous struggle with bipolar disorder on Friday, January 2, at her home. She was born April 8,1974 in North Adams, MA. Mären attended White Bear Lake High School and graduated from the College of St. Catherine.  She was united in marriage to Martin Dahlke, September 5, 2002 on the edge of the ocean in Jamaica.  Mären pursued her work in occupational therapy as a teacher and yoga instructor for children.

Mären loved plants and flowers and enjoyed collecting and cultivating them. She was an avid reader and traveled to many places across the country with her husband. She also had a great respect for different cultures and was always accepting of others thoughts and ideas. Mären loved celebrating and sharing adventures with her extended families. Mären was a kind, caring and most gentle person who walked softly on this earth.
