Margaret Ann Webb, age 78 of Hudson, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2018 at the East Bank Hospital at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN.

Margaret was born on December 11, 1939, in Indianapolis, IN to her parents, Robert and (Margaret) Ann (Bowman) Lewis. She grew up in Indiana and graduated from Morristown High School in 1957. A life-long learner, she continued her frequently disrupted education in Indiana at Purdue University, Franklin College, and Ball State University before completing her degree from the University of Minnesota. Margaret was united in marriage to Lewis “Ted” Webb on July 2, 1959 in Fountaintown, IN, and the couple were blessed with three children. The family eventually made their home in Houlton, WI. Margaret worked as a computer programmer for Land O’Lakes/Cenex Harvest States (CHS), retiring in 2003.

Margaret loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren. “Grammy” was delighted to attend every music concert, activity and theatrical performance they were involved in. Her faith was very important to her and she was active in her church at Harvestime Outreach, and a faithful member of both Grandmothers in Prayer and Seasoned Believers. Margaret graciously volunteered her time at the Hudson Hospital and the Hudson Food Shelf. She held Republican beliefs and enjoyed helping out as an election volunteer. Margaret enjoyed reading, and working jigsaw, crossword and Soduku puzzles. She also enjoyed traveling all across the United States on family trips and bus tours, happily meeting her quest of visiting all 48 contiguous states. 

Margaret will remain in the hearts of her children, Katherine (Kirk) Davis of Maplewood, MN, Susan Carlin of New Richmond, and Michael (Kimberly) Webb of Hammond; grandchildren, Maddie and Maguire Davis, Sam Ramisch, Ambrosia Webb, Ashley Knoff,  Spencer and Elias Webb; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Oliver Knoff; siblings, Nancy (Joe) Machain and Bob (Jane) Lewis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis “Ted” Webb; her parents; and grandson, Zacharias Webb.

The Funeral Service for Margaret will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Harvestime Outreach Church, 498 Jacobs Lane, Hudson, WI. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Interment at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials for missions at Harvestime Outreach Church are preferred.
