Margaret Masanz, age 101, passed away September 18, 2019, with family by her side. She was born on April 17, 1918 in Lakeland, MN, to parents Charles and Victoria (Kukuska) Miller. Margaret grew up with 11 brothers and sisters and attended schooling in Lakeland. She married the love of her life Victor Masanz, on June 30, 1945 and together were blessed with 7 children.

Margaret loved being a mother and grandmother most of all, and cooking meals for her large family. She also enjoyed being outside in the garden planting flowers. She will be missed greatly by her children Richard (Roberta), Michael (Laurie), Victor (Jeanne), Charles, Joseph (Lynn), and Robert; 18 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren; sister Pat Heldt and brother Howard (Florence) Miller; in-laws Frank Masanz and Jan Masanz. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor; daughter Mary Anne Pelton; and 10 siblings.

A funeral service for Margaret will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
