Marion Elaine Robey, age 74, of River Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Marion was born in River Falls on December 27, 1940 to Esther (Ryberg) and Alexander Green. On October 24, 1959 she married Donovan Robey and together they raised seven children on their family farm in rural River Falls.
Marion was a hard worker and had a special love for animals. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and cheering at countless sporting events. Marion spent many sunny days outdoors with her children and grandchildren, searching for Agates and telling stories. She was a 4H leader for 23 years and also worked at the Kinnic Long Term Care for 23 years. She will be dearly missed.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Joyce and brother Buddy.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donovan. Daughters: Kim (Phil) Huggett, Michelle (John) Stoetzel, and Stacie Robey. Sons: Jeff (Jodie) Robey, Todd Robey, Darren (Ann) Robey, and Ryan (Angie) Robey.
Grandchildren: Sarah Huggett, Lindsey (Jut) Kocina, Luke Huggett, Samantha Huggett, Jaclyn Stoetzel, Brooke Stoetzel, Matthew Stoetzel, Allyson Stoetzel, Miranda Robey, Jacy Robey, Erin Robey, Amber Robey, Justin Robey, Adam Robey, and Abbey Robey. Five great-grandchildren, (with two more on the way).
Sister Marie (Jim) Leonard, and brother Eugene (Arlene) Green. Brother in-law Derwin (Leslie) Robey.
Sister in-law Connie (Dennis) Mausolf.
She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Marion will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls, WI. Rev. Tim Booth of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hudson, Wi will officiate. Visitation for Marion will be at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home from 4-8pm on Tuesday and for one hour prior to the funeral.
Pall-bearers will be: Phil Huggett, John Stoetzel, Luke Huggett, Matthew Stoetzel, Jut Kocina, and Jim Leonard. Honorary pall-bearers will be Marion’s grandchildren.
