Marion H Elliott

Marion Hattie (Dusek) Elliott, age 85, passed away
peacefully, with family by her side on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at United
Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She was born January 28, 1932 in Clifton Township,
Pierce County, WI to George and Sophie (Cobian) Dusek. She was a graduate of
River Falls High School in 1950. On June 27, 1953 Marion was united in marriage
to Elwood L. Elliott in River Falls. She was a lifelong resident of River Falls
and lifelong member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.

Marion lived in Texas for a brief time while Elwood was in
the Army and then moved back to River Falls. After they moved back to River
Falls they farmed on the Elliott century farm. Marion was involved in many
activities throughout her lifetime, some of which were 4H leader, neighborhood
ladies aid groups, homemakers, church choir and funeral choir, RFAH Auxiliary
(where she delivered mail and worked in ER). She enjoyed many crafting projects
before arthritis in her hands made her stop. Marion especially enjoyed camping trips
with Kinni Campers and Good Sams, attending Samborees from coast to coast.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Sophie
Dusek; sisters, Bernice Oelsligle and Marlys S. Dusek.

Marion is survived by Elwood, her loving husband of 64 years;
her children, Greg (Monica) Elliott, Cindy (Les) Ray, Lori Elliott-Larson (Randy
Larson), Mike (Janine) Elliott, Steve (Michelle) Elliott; grandchildren, Jeremy
(Diane) Elliott, Michelle (Tom) Moore, Julie Elliott (Dan Hoffman), James
Elliott, Jacob Elliott, Maxwell Elliott, Andrea Elliott; great-grandsons,
twins, Howard and Hagen Moore, Joshua Elliott; brothers, Donald (Marge) Dusek,
Marvin (Elaine) Dusek; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Monday, December
4th, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 211 East Division St., River
Falls, WI. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, Dec. 3rd at
the church and 1 hour prior to Mass on Monday. Private interment at St. Bridget
Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
