Marjorie was united in marriage to Thomas D. Buckner on June 25, 1966 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church of River Falls. Their union in marriage would be blessed with three children, and over 51 years of love and devotion.

Marjorie was at home in the garden, growing not only beautiful flowers, but all kinds of vegetables that she would use for canning. She was also an animal lover, finding joy in the cats and dogs that come with living on the farm. Marjorie was resourceful with a sewing machine, and often made clothes for her family. She was a fabulous baker, and a wonderful cook. Her family fondly recalls Sunday meals at the home, all served with chicken. As a young woman, Marjorie enjoyed camping and traveling, visiting many of the National Parks. In later years, it was trips up north, and time spent watching children. Marjorie cherished time spent with her family and her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Tom Buckner; her children, Dan (Kris) Buckner, Diane (Jeff) Halbach, and Bob Buckner; grandchildren, Jared, Ellie, and Nathan Halbach, and Andrew, Jessica, and Thomas Buckner; brother, Duayne Larson; brother-in-law, Richard (Doris) Buckner; sister-in-law, Rosie (Phil) Noah; and her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Ron.
