Marjorie Ann (nee Fox)) Malueg passed away peacefully in her home on January 13,2024. The oldest daughter of William and Margaret (Eckert) Fox. She was born in Hastings, MN. She married her husband Charles Carl Malueg on Oct 27th,1956 in the parsonage of the United Church of Christ. Together they raise a family of 5 successful children. Marjorie was employed at several places over the years, including Smead Manufacturing, 3M Corporation, Jacques Seed and finally retired from Bio Diagnostic as a lab tech.

Being a lifelong resident of Prescott, Marge was active in her community over the years. She was on the Election Board, Prescott Church association, and Citizens Adopt a Park. She also spent some time delivering Meals on Wheels. She had a love for flowers as you could tell by all the gardens in her yard. She also loved to spend time looking at the birds and all kinds of nature that came her way.

Marjorie never missed a birthday of her children, grandkids and great grandkids always sending them a birthday card with a little something to spend on themselves.

She was a very loved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She never missed a chance to see her kids, grandkids and great grandkids perform whether in sports, a concert or showing at the fair. She always made a point to be there for them.

Marjorie is survived by her children Patricia A Olafson (James) Jayne M. Brand, Barbara J. Meier (Glenn) Steven C. Malueg (Jayne), Charlene K. Malueg (Bill Feidt)

Grandkids: Tim Olafson, James Olafson (Amy), Missy Townsend (Darin), Crystal Meier, Jacob Meier (Denise), Matthew Brand, Carlee Kone’ (Babacar).

Great Grandkids: Ashlyn Townsend, Ayla Olafson, Lyza Olafson, Rudy Olafson, Wesley Brand, Emmalee Brand, Adam Meier, Micheala Meier, and Ibrahima Kone’

Marge will be missed very much by the ones she loved; family, friends, those she worked with over the years and people she knew throughout the community.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Malueg, parents William and Margaret Fox, and siblings William Fox Jr, Shirley (Fox) Geister, Joyce (Fox) Paulson, Kenneth Fox.

A celebration of Marjorie’s life will take place at 11:00am on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Prescott United Church of Christ: 206 N. Locust St., Prescott, WI 54021. A visitation will be held from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Prescott United Church of Christ, and one hour before the service on Friday, January 19, 2024. Her final resting place will be Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott, WI.
