Marjorie L. Bradshaw

Marjorie Lorraine (Miller) Bradshaw, age 95, a lifelong resident of Lakeland Shores, Minnesota, died peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Hudson Hospital.

Marge was born on October 16, 1920 in Lakeland, Minnesota; the daughter of William “Beanie” and Lucille (Frazier) Miller. Marge, also known as “Granny Marge,” was united in marriage to William “Bill” Bradshaw on November 23, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their union was blessed with three children. Marge loved her time with her family and friends, and enjoyed playing card games, doing puzzles, bowling, bingo and fishing. You could always find Marge working in the yard raking, or shoveling the snow off the driveway. She had a very special love for her church friends in the Bible B’s.

Marge will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Donna Pritzel of Brackettville TX, and Vicki Belisle of Lakeland MN; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William; son, Thomas Edward; grandson, Wesley; parents, Beanie and Lucille Miller; brothers, LaVerne and Frank “Frankie;” and sisters, Murle, Dorothy, and Mae.

A Memorial Service for Marge will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 14 at the Valley Baptist Church; 860 St. Croix Trail So., Lakeland, Minnesota. Graveside service will be Monday, May 30th at the Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeland, Minnesota following their Memorial Day program. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Bible B’s of Valley Baptist Church.
