Marlene Feucht

Marlene Feucht, age 66, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at her home in Hudson, surrounded by her loving family.

Marlene was born on March 17, 1948 in Wilson, Arkansas to Alphonse and Helen (Hoavtor) Metz. She attended grade school at St. Gerard’s in Milwaukee, WI and graduated from Mayville High School. She attended Marine Park Technical College, where she obtained her RN and LPN degrees. Marlene then attended Marquette University, achieving certifications in grief counseling and parish nursing. She retired from Marine Park Technical college as an RN Lab Coordinator.

On August 6, 1966, she was united in marriage to Gary Feucht at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Theresa, WI.

Marlene will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Hudson, WI; 2 children, Paul Feucht (Andrés Otero) of Miami, FL, and Ann (Steve) Sarazin of Elk River, MN; grandson, Conrad Sarazin; father-in-law, Gilbert Feucht of Menomonie Falls, WI; brother-in-law, Michael (Jane) Feucht of Menomonie Falls, WI; sisters-in-law: Paulene Ellington of Mayville, WI, Jo Anne (Dan) Leal of North Fond du Lac, WI, Mary Jo Cloke of Bloomington, MN, and Betty Jean Christian (special friend, John) of Rhinelander, WI; along with her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Arlene; parents; nephew, Nathan Christian; and mother-in-law, Florence Feucht.

A Memorial Mass for Marlene will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson with a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at St. Croix Hospice, especially Tanya, for their compassion and care given to Marlene and her family over the past few months.
