Mary Catherine Theresa Krear, age 76, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Twin Falls, ID and River Falls, WI passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Red Cedar Canyon Assisted Living in Hudson, WI. She was born July 24, 1938 in River Falls, WI to Marvin and Irene (Milbauer) Killian. Mary was a graduate of River Falls High School. On May 13, 1961 she was united in marriage to John (Jack) Krear at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls.
With John being a Military Pilot they moved throughout the United States to various locations, spending time in Virginia, Alaska, Idaho, and Alabama. Recently Mary had moved back to the area to be near her family and see friends.
During John’s duty in Viet Nam in 1968 and his assignment in Virginia she toured various facilities in Washington D.C. including the White House, U.S. Congress during session, The Smithsonian Institute and other locations, as she completed the requirements at a Beautician School for Hair Styling and Make-Up. Mary enjoyed working with numbers and was very good at being an accountant, and office manager for several companies throughout her travels.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Marvin & Irene Killian.
Mary is survived by her husband (eight days short of 54 years) John of Baldwin & River Falls, WI. Mary and John had three children, Bradley & (Toshiko) Krear of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Bryan & (Lisa) Krear of Twin Falls, ID, Deborah & (Tim) Booser of Milton, WA. Including five grandchildren, Andy, Ashlee, Caleb, Cameron, and Carly. Mary has a twin sister, Marlys & (Chuck) Peterson of Wimberley, TX; other sisters are, Judy & (Floyd) Everson of Star Prairie, WI, Pat & (Jerry) Anderson of River Falls, WI; several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 11, 2015 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, River Falls, WI by Father Jerry Harris. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery, River Falls.
