Mary Catherine Hilden

Mary C. Hilden, age 87, of River Falls, WI . died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the River Falls Area Hospital.
She was born October 12, 1929 in Ellsworth, WI. the daughter of Grant and Catherine(Wagner) Guest. She lived and attended school in the Trimbelle area. Mary was united in Marriage to Sheldon M. Hilden on May 30, 1951 in Ellsworth. She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary, and the Ezekiel Lutheran Church in River Falls, WI. and DAR. Mary will be remembered for her warm personality and love for her children, grand and great-grandchildren. Mary also loved to crochet, knit, embroider, canning pickles, baking Christmas cookies, sewing doll clothes and gardening. Mary kept track of the family history, was an avid Packer fan and loved western movies and polka dancing.
Mary is survived by her husband Sheldon, five children: Virginia Lundgaard, River Falls, WI; Richard (Mary Kay) Hilden, Hudson, WI; Julie Atsatt, Ellsworth, WI; Mark (Kristen) Hilden, River Falls, WI; James Hilden, Hammond WI. Five grandchildren: Amy (Keegan) Iversen, Corey (Shelby) Hilden, Abbey (Nathan) Goers, Allison (Matt Boumeester) Hilden, Katie Jo Hilden(Luke Dahler) , and eight great-grandchildren. Sibling, Dorothy Johnson, sisters in-law Ruth and Lucille Guest.
Mary was preceded in death by her grandson Adam Lundgaard, parents, son in-law Tom Atsatt, brothers and sisters.

Funeral service for Mary will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Ezekiel Lutheran Church, River Falls, WI. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m., the same day prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls, WI.

Cashman-Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Service, River Falls, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
