Mary Lou Arnold, age 62, of Shelbyville, TN formerly of Prescott, WI passed away peacefully in Prescott on Saturday, May 18, 2019. She was born on May 29, 1956 in Hastings, MN to Joseph and Pauline (Pechacek) Lubich. On September 22, 1979 Mary Lou was united in marriage to David Arnold at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prescott.
Mary Lou worked for Jostens for over 39 years, first in Red Wing and when that plant closed, she and David moved to Shelbyville, TN where she continued to work for the company. Mary Lou was an avid card player, loved traveling and touring wineries during those road trips. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing her favorite meals with family and friends.
David Brent Arnold, age 66, of Shelbyville, TN passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 in Shelbyville, TN. He was a native of Red Wing, MN the son of Roland and Verlyn (Brown) Arnold.
He loved traveling, touring wineries, playing golf, bowling, softball and playing cards with friends.
Preceding them in death are Mary’s father, Joseph Lubich; David’s parents, Roland and Verlyn Arnold; Mary’s sister-in-law, Tami Lubich.
The couple is survived by their daughter, Amy (Bill) Mundt of Aurora, IL; Mary’s mother, Polly Lubich; Mary’s siblings, Teresa (Howie) Bolland, Rosie White, Mike (Julie) Lubich, Tom (Kim) Lubich, Jane Lubich, Paul (Kim) Lubich, Jim (Jen) Lubich and Jeff Lubich; David’s siblings, Steven (Jeanie) Arnold and William (Cindy) Arnold; David’s step-mother, Dellie Arnold; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and their special Tennessee family and her Jostens family.
Graveside services for the couple will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing, MN
A Celebration of life will be held 4:00-7:00 pm June 11th at the Red Wing Elks Club,306 West 4th Street, Red Wing, MN.
