Mary Lou Olson passed away September 2, 2015 at the Red Cedar Canyon in Hudson at the age of 84. Mary Lou was raised and lived in Roberts, Wisconsin until 1966 when she moved to Hudson.

Mary Lou worked for many years as a secretary at Economics Laboratory in downtown St. Paul. After moving to Hudson, Mary Lou worked as a secretary at the Hudson Police Department, and held the title as their first police woman. Mary Lou enjoyed traveling, especially to Arizona and Florida to visit family. Mary Lou enjoyed playing cards, reading books, baking, and watching her favorite TV soap operas.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold; son, Greg (Laure) Olson of Maple Grove, MN; daughter, Linda Olson of Plano, TX; grandchildren,  Jonathan (Nikki) Olson of Prior Lake, MN, Sarah Olson of Champlin, MN; and great-granddaughter, Olivia.    

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Elsie Allison; brothers, Laurel Allison, and Stanley Allison; sister, Shirley Allison Paczkowski.

Family Service and burial was held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson.
